Pay
£13.50 - £14.50 per hour (depending on experience)

About the Role
The Best Connection are looking for a reliable and hardworking Band Saw Operative to join our production team in a busy dog treat manufacturing facility. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with little or no previous experience, as full training will be provided.

• Operate a band saw safely and efficiently following company procedures.
• Cut raw materials to the required sizes and specifications.
• Inspect materials for quality before and after cutting.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area in line with food hygiene standards.
• Follow all health and safety procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
• Report any equipment faults or maintenance issues promptly.
• Assist with stock movement and general production duties when required.
• Work closely with colleagues to meet daily production targets.
• Comply with all company food safety and quality procedures.

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Good attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Physically fit and capable of handling materials safely.
• Previous experience operating machinery is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided.
