Are you an experienced Machine Operator looking for your next opportunity within a fast-paced manufacturing environment? We are seeking a reliable and motivated

Machine Operator to join our production team, operating and maintaining equipment while ensuring the highest standards of quality, productivity, and safety.

The Role

As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining machinery, including rewind machines that convert material from one roll size to another to create finished products to precise specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate machinery efficiently and safely.
  • Complete full machine setups and run rewind machines to produce finished rolls to specification.
  • Follow work order instructions and perform all required activities.
  • Carry out machine adjustments and basic troubleshooting using hand tools.
  • Perform quality inspections and testing in line with ISO procedures.
  • Maintain productivity targets while ensuring quality standards are met.
  • Adhere to all health, safety and PPE requirements.
  • Identify and suggest opportunities for process improvements.
  • Follow established processes, procedures and company policies.
  • Work collaboratively within the production team and support colleagues where required.
  • Assist with training other team members when requested by supervisors or team leaders.
  • Demonstrate and uphold companies' shared values.
What We're Looking For
  • Previous experience operating machinery within a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Experience setting up and running converting machinery is desirable.
  • Good mechanical aptitude and confidence using hand tools.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and work orders accurately.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and troubleshooting.
  • Commitment to health and safety standards.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
Working Hours

This role operates on a rotating shift pattern:

Week 1 - Morning Shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • 6:00am - 2:00pm
Week 2 - Afternoon Shift
  • Monday to Thursday: 1:45pm - 10:15pm
  • Friday: 1:45pm - 7:15pm
