Simmal Ltd, a Preston-based family business in the aluminium industry, offers a Machine Operator Apprenticeship. You will learn to process materials, set and operate machining equipment, and ensure quality and safety standards.
As an apprentice, you will read engineering drawings, measure components with precision tools, handle materials, perform routine maintenance, and work a Monday–Friday schedule from 08:00 to 17:00 in a high‑tech manufacturing environment.
