The family is in their fifth generation and plays a hands-on role in running the business. Most people know us for our stairlifts. Our range of products includes lifts, escalators, andhomelifts. We also provide maintenance and repair services.

This job will involve coordinating daily shift activities, leading a team within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, and driving performance to achieve safety, quality, delivery and cost targets.

To be successful as the Cell Leader
, it is essential that you have previous experience in a modern manufacturing environment and supervising or leading a small to medium-sized team. Experience in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement activities would be desirable.

• Lead daily team briefings and training initiatives to develop team capability and engagement.
• Drive team performance to achieve production targets across safety, quality, delivery and cost.
• Manage staffing requirements, including absence cover, overtime planning and attendance administration.
• Work with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and resolve production challenges.
• Coach, mentor and support team members while fostering a positive and safety-focused culture.
• Previous experience working within a modern manufacturing environment.
• Experience leading or supervising a small to medium-sized team.
• Strong understanding of health and safety principles and continuous improvement processes.
• Good organisational, communication, IT and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret production data.
