Ribble View is a care service for adults living with complex and high acuity needs.

Role Overview

As a Unit Manager with Exemplar Health Care, you’ll be at the forefront of clinical care delivery for the people living on your designated unit.

Responsibilities
  • Lead your unit’s care and nursing teams to meet the medical, physical and emotional needs of the people we support.
  • Provide strong leadership to maintain and continuously develop high standards of care and drive continuous improvement.
  • Oversee and manage all your unit’s clinical elements and risks.
  • Ensure care plans and risk assessments are completed and reviewed in a timely manner and reflect care interventions appropriately.
  • Act as the Named Nurse for residents allocated to you, overseeing the review and update of their care profiles.
  • Supervise and manage your unit’s ordering, handling, storage, administration, recording and disposal of medication.
Qualifications & Skills
  • First‑level nursing registration with a valid NMC PIN.
  • Post‑registration and management or supervisory experience and/or training or qualifications.
  • Thorough understanding of best practice in nursing care.
  • Excellent range of clinical and communication skills.
  • Enthusiastic approach to encouraging and motivating people.
  • Ability to work confidently on own initiative.
  • Good standard of digital skills.
  • Authorized to work in the UK.
