The Role Join Ramsay Health Care UK as the Outpatients & Pre-Assessment Manager at Fulwood Hall Hospital. Lead and develop high-quality outpatient and pre-operative assessment services within a top independent healthcare provider. This leadership role ensures safe, effective, and responsive services across Outpatients and Pre-Assessment. You will provide clinical and operational leadership, ensuring exceptional patient experiences from consultation to surgery. Collaborate with consultants, anaesthetists, operational managers, and multidisciplinary teams to drive clinical excellence, optimize patient pathways, and support hospital growth.
What You'll Do As Outpatients & Pre-Assessment Manager, you'll manage and lead the Outpatients and Pre-Assessment departments.
- Provide leadership to teams, ensuring safe, patient-centred care.
- Promote high clinical standards and lead safety initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Oversee pre-operative assessments and manage complex patient pathways.
- Ensure efficient outpatient clinic operations and optimize scheduling.
- Lead governance processes, monitor incidents, and support quality improvement.
- Develop and motivate multidisciplinary teams, ensuring staff development.
- Manage departmental budgets and KPIs, supporting service growth.
- Build relationships with consultants and collaborate across departments.
- Registered Nurse with NMC registration.
- Management experience in Outpatients or Pre-Assessment.
- Strong clinical background and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of CQC standards and clinical governance.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
