Hours:
Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week
Shifts:
Rotating 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm
On behalf of our client, we're looking for a QC Laboratory Analyst to join a busy manufacturing environment, carrying out quality control testing on bulk liquids and finished products.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform laboratory testing in line with specifications and approved methods.
- Interpret and accurately report analytical results.
- Investigate out-of-specification results, liaising with Technical and Manufacturing teams.
- Release bulk products for filling and support production schedules.
- Calibrate laboratory equipment and assist with equipment validation.
- Prepare laboratory reagents and maintain samples, records and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, GLP and health and safety requirements.
- HNC in Chemistry with 2-3 years' relevant experience, or a Chemistry degree with 1-2 years' experience.
- Practical experience using analytical equipment, including titrators, moisture analysers, UV/IR spectroscopy or fluorimeters.
- Knowledge of GC and HPLC.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills and the ability to interpret data accurately.
- Good communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
