Night Replenishment, Supermarket Assistant

Role Overview

Deliver excellent customer service and maintain high standards of store presentation while supporting the team. Demonstrate flexibility to meet customer and business needs.

• Advising and serving customers through personal interaction.
• Moving, replenishing and organising stock on the shop floor.
• Carrying out housekeeping and cleaning activities to keep the store tidy.
• Handling cash and card transactions in accordance with procedures.
• Supporting the wider team in any area of the branch as required.
• Maintaining the necessary business dress and personal hygiene standards.
• Keeping up‑to‑date with food and drink trends and product knowledge.
• Ensuring the shop floor is ready for customers at all times.

• Applicants must be 18years or older.
• Must be able to work the advertised hours, including evenings and nights between 22:00 and 06:00.
• Ability to work flexible or compressed hours within the part‑time contract.
• Will be subject to a pre‑employment vetting process that may include a DBS check. Candidates should be prepared to complete any required documentation promptly.

Pay: £13.00 per hour (£13.25 after 90 days).
Shift premium for hours worked 22:00‑06:00 is £3.75 per hour. Night premium also applies to existing partners with Enhanced Hours Premium arrangements.

Hours:

27.75 hours per week across three days (Thursday, Friday & Saturday) with working times between 21:30 and 07:30. Contract type:
Temporary.
