Area Sales Manager

We are delighted to be supporting this established, family-run importer and distributor of natural roofing slate once more as they seek to appoint a driven Area Sales Manager to build a territory covering the North West of England & North Wales.

• Identify, win and develop focused Builders Merchant accounts, working alongside branch teams, maintaining contact with regular visits.
• Create contractor demand with visits to roofing contractors, house builders and developers, supporting product selection and supporting the order via our merchant partner.
• Become the local contact for Merchants, and wider customers for technical support, ordering assistance and account management.

• Proven experience selling into Builders Merchants, winning new stockists and growing sales via independent and national builders' and roofing merchants.
• The ability to back-sell, building relationships with Contractors, Developers and Roofers to create products demand and feeding that through a merchant partner.
• A vibrant personality, the ability to build and develop relationships with natural rapport, and hunger for success
