• Technical Advisor position dealing with a range of liquid roofing systems for either waterproofing or fully built up roofing systems; which encompasses waterproofing, insulation, roof lights, edge trims and VCL (vapour control layer)
• Work closely with the external sales team who are gaining the specifications with predominantly building surveyors, but also some architects, health authorities, education and other major specifiers
• Majority of your time will be spent generating specifications received by the sales team
• Dealing with quotations of products
• Undertaking product training for sub-contractors and installers
• Providing technical advice to customers around the product range
• Occasionally meeting with suppliers and attending industry events
• Project sizes can vary from 20m2 up to 2,000m2

• Must have technical experience within the building envelope market sector (roofing, flat roofing, coatings, cladding, brickwork, and facades)
• Ideally will have experience dealing with specifications
• Ideally will have an understanding of condition reports
• Ideally familiar with building regulations and processes
• Ideally able to utilise existing customer contacts with building surveyors and potentially architects
• Specific flat roofing knowledge of: waterproofing, insulation, roof lights, edge trims, VCL Vapour control layer, is advantageous
• Energy and enthusiasm with a willingness to learn
