Location: Penwortham
The Role
- Providing one to one support to individuals experiencing housing instability or homelessness
- Supporting clients to access accommodation, benefits and community services
- Assisting with daily living skills such as budgeting, cooking and maintaining a tenancy
- Building positive relationships to encourage independence and long term stability
- Working alongside external agencies including social services and support providers
- Managing incidents calmly and ensuring the safety and wellbeing of clients
- Maintaining accurate records, support plans and risk assessments in line with compliance
- Previous experience working with vulnerable adults or within housing or homelessness services
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and professional boundaries
- Confident supporting individuals with complex needs including mental health and substance misuse
- Ability to manage challenging behaviour and de‑escalate situations effectively
- Full UK driving licence preferred but not essential
- Flexible approach to shifts including days, evenings and weekends
- Weekly pay
- Temporary - permanent placement after 12 weeks
