Salary & Grade£28,142 – £32,061 per annum (Full Time in Chorley; Part Time 29.6 hours per week in Preston). Grade: 6

About You- Family-focused: directly work with children, young people, and families to understand their needs and create tailored plans that improve outcomes.
- Collaborative: work closely with schools, partner agencies, and other professionals to deliver joined‑up support.
- Empathetic & resilient: bring sensitivity, creativity, and determination to help families overcome challenges and thrive.
- Hold a caseload of families and deliver personalised, evidence‑based interventions.
- Undertake early help assessments and co‑produce action plans with families.
- Work as part of a Team Around the Family to provide seamless support.
- Maintain accurate records and apply analysis to justify decisions.
- Build strong relationships with families and professionals to ensure positive outcomes.
- Work flexibly, including occasional evenings and weekends, to meet family needs.
- Level 3 qualification or substantial experience in a relevant field.
- Experience of working directly with children, young people, and families.
- Strong assessment, planning, and critical reflection skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
