Ton Driver

Position: 7.5Ton Driver
Our Preston based client is looking for a 7.5T driver to work on an on-going basis. This vacancy has arisen due to the site having an unmanned vehicle so this position may become permanent.

You will be given a full weeks training in the role with one of the drivers, you will be using a pod device for delivery and also a tail lift. This role may require some offloading from the back of the vehicle into customer

The suitable candidate must

- Have held a valid 7.5T licence for 6 months due to insurance restrictions

- Have a valid CPC and digital tachograph card

- Be comfortable doing 6-8 deliveries per day

- An element of handball

Pay rate is £13.50 ph paye or £15.13 ph with rolled up holiday pay
