Driver Hire Preston is currently recruiting for 8 HGV Class 2 Drivers to work with a range of well-established clients across the Preston and Lancashire area.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers seeking full-time temporary work with competitive pay, weekly wages, and ongoing opportunities. • Operate HGV Class 2 vehicles safely and in accordance with all road transport regulations.
• Complete daily vehicle safety checks and report defects.
• Deliver goods to warehouses, distribution centres, and commercial business premises.
• Maintain regular communication with your line manager throughout the working day.
• Report any incidents, delays, vehicle defects, or operational issues promptly.
• Ensure all delivery paperwork is completed accurately.
• Adhere to Drivers' Hours, Working Time Directive, and company policies.
• Provide excellent customer service when making deliveries.

• Valid UK HGV Class 2 (Category
  
  C) Licence.
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good understanding of Drivers' Hours and Working Time Regulations.
• Strong commitment to road safety and compliance.
• Reliable, professional, and punctual approach to work.
