Trainee Bus Driver; Apprenticeship qualification

Training & Salary

Salary £14.49 per hour during training (6–8 weeks). After completion as a qualified bus driver, annual earnings of £33,434 based on 39 hours per week. Shift patterns: 5 over 7.

• Complete industry‑leading training and secure a PCV licence as part of a Level 2 Bus Driver Apprenticeship.
• Drive the fleet safely, smoothly and with confidence.
• Ensure every customer has a great journey by delivering exceptional customer service.
• Create a welcoming environment where customers feel respected and cared for.
• Work flexible shifts, including early mornings, evenings and weekends.

• 18 years old or older.
• Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Right to work in the UK and ordinary residence (or eligible alternative).
• A patient, safe and courteous approach to customers.
• Positive, friendly attitude and passion for delivering great customer service.
• Willingness to learn and be part of a team.

• Fully paid training covering all training costs.
• Level 2 Bus Driver Apprenticeship qualification.
