Class 2 Driver

What you'll be doing
  • Safely operate Class 2 vehicles on planned routes between distribution centres and delivery locations.
  • Transport mail, parcels and freight efficiently while meeting delivery schedules.
  • Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects in line with company procedures.
  • Load and unload vehicles safely while ensuring the security of all goods.
  • Complete delivery paperwork and electronic records accurately.
  • Work independently while maintaining excellent communication with the wider operations team.
  • Follow all road transport legislation, health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Multiple drops per shift, depending on route assigned.
What we’re looking for
  • Valid UK Cat C driving licence.
  • Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
  • No more than 5 penalty points and no serious driving endorsements.
  • 2 years previous Class 2 driving experience within a logistics or distribution environment.
  • Strong understanding of UK road transport legislation and vehicle safety.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Professional, reliable and customer-focused approach.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
