* Monday – Friday | 9:00am – 5:00pm

Our client, a well-established automotive repair business in Port Seton / Prestonpans, is seeking an experienced Motor Vehicle Painter to join their professional team. This is a permanent, full-time role offering excellent hours, job security, and a competitive salary — with the opportunity to earn overtime if desired.

The Role

* Preparing and painting vehicles to manufacturer standards

* Applying paint finishes and ensuring colour matching across all vehicles

* Performing touch-ups and refinishing as needed

* Working across a variety of vehicle makes and damage types

* Using spray guns, hand tools, and specialist painting equipment

* Maintaining workshop standards and a tidy, safe workspace

What the Client Is Looking For

* Proven experience as a Motor Vehicle Painter

* Previous experience within a bodyshop or automotive repair environment

* Strong attention to detail and a quality-focused approach

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Reliable, professional, and committed to high standards
