HGV 2 Skip Driver

Driver Hire Edinburgh City is currently recruiting an experienced HGV Class 2 Skip Driver on behalf of a well-established waste management and recycling company based in East Lothian
.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable and professional driver looking for ongoing, full-time work with the opportunity to secure a permanent position after a successful temporary period.

• Operating a Class 2 skip vehicle throughout East Lothian and the surrounding areas
• Delivering, exchanging and collecting skips for commercial and domestic customers
• Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks and reporting any defects
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures
• Providing a professional and friendly service to customers
• Maintaining high standards of health and safety at all times
• Monday to Friday
• Minimum 40 hours per week
• Temp-to-perm opportunity

• £15.00 per hour
• £19.99 per hour after 8 hours

• £16.81 per hour
• £22.40 per hour after 8 hours

• Minimum 40 hours guaranteed per week
• Weekly pay
• Overtime opportunities available
• Ongoing work with the opportunity of a permanent contract

• Valid UK Class 2 (Category
  
  C) licence
• Digital Tachograph card
• Previous skip, waste or other Class 2 driving experience is advantageous
• Good understanding of safe working practices
• A reliable, professional and customer-focused attitude
