Project Manager – Prestwick Aerosystems
Salary:
From £50,960 per annum.
Location:
Prestwick, Ayrshire.
Hours:
37 hours per week (half‑day Friday). Type:
Full‑time. Travel:
Occasional.
Pre‑employment security checks required: BPSS, Disclosure Scotland, and medical assessment (including drug and alcohol testing). Applicants must have the right to work in the UK; no visa sponsorship available.
Key Responsibilities- Lead planning and delivery of major change projects, ensuring scope, objectives, milestones, and deliverables are clearly defined and controlled.
- Develop and maintain project plans, governance, reporting, and business documentation in line with organisational and customer requirements.
- Manage project risks, opportunities, and dependencies, implementing effective mitigation plans to support successful delivery.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders, customers, and cross‑functional teams, ensuring projects meet agreed cost, schedule, and performance targets.
- Experience delivering complex projects within manufacturing, engineering, aerospace, or a similar operational environment.
- Experience applying recognised project management methodologies, tools, and governance frameworks across the full project lifecycle.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage colleagues, customers, suppliers, and senior leaders.
- Recognised project management qualification (e.g., APMP, PRINCE2) or a commitment to achieving professional accreditation.
- 37‑hour week with half‑day Friday.
