Hours:

37 hours per week About the Role Morson are recruiting on behalf of Prestwick Aerosystems for an experienced Project Controller to join their Program Management team on a 12-month contract. This is an excellent opportunity to support project control and delivery within a leading aerospace environment, working closely with Project Managers, Finance, Commercial and wider business functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain accurate Development and Production Schedules to support project delivery.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of Project Management Best Practices, processes and documentation.
  • Assist Project Managers with the creation and control of project plans, Level 1 plans and activities.
  • Maintain project KPIs and performance metrics, supporting accurate reporting and project reviews.
  • Prepare and coordinate customer reports, presentations and monthly programme review packs.
  • Support Finance and Commercial teams with monitoring and control of project budgets and spend.
  • Assist with Risk and Opportunity management, including coordinating actions across internal functions.
  • Coordinate stakeholder meetings, maintain action logs and support the wider Program Management team.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
  • Previous experience working within a project environment.
  • Good understanding of programme planning principles and project drivers.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple disciplines.
  • Good financial and analytical skills.
  • Understanding of local and corporate processes.
  • Computer literate, with strong Microsoft Office skills.
  • Experience using project management systems, ideally MS Project.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across different management levels.
  • Confident in reviewing, understanding and challenging data where appropriate.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and stakeholder management ability.
