Title: Finance Graduate

Location: Prestwick, Ayrshire

Hours: 37 hours per week (half day Friday)

Type: Fixed Term (4 years)

Travel Required: Occasional

Prestwick Aerosystems continues Ayrshire’s long-standing aircraft manufacturing tradition, producing aircraft wing structures for Airbus commercial programmes worldwide.

This four-year structured Finance Graduate programme offers broad exposure across financial accounting, cost accounting, estimating, commercial, and programme finance. Participants develop strong financial, analytical, and commercial capabilities through hands‑on experience, structured rotations and business‑partnering responsibilities, with full support toward a professional accounting qualification and a clear pathway into a Finance Analyst or Programme Finance role.

• Complete structured rotations across financial accounting, cost accounting, estimating & commercial, and programme finance to build a foundation in financial control and reporting.
• Support financial planning, forecasting and performance analysis, working with teams across the business to understand and improve cost and operational drivers.
• Contribute to commercial and estimating activities, supporting business cases, cost models and financial inputs to decision‑making.
• Provide ongoing finance business‑partnering support, analysing large data sets, preparing reporting and supporting stakeholders with financial insight.

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related discipline.
• Strong numerical and analytical capability.
• Experience using Microsoft Excel for data analysis.
• Ability to work with complex data sets and financial information.
