PositionThere are 2 vacant posts suitable for a qualified first level registered nurse within our 16 bedded End of Life/Hospital Based Palliative Care, in McMillan Ward, Biggart Hospital. These posts are offered on a permanent basis.
Hours34.02 hours per week.
A flexible approach to shift patterns, including night duty, is required; hours of duty will be 34.02.
What you will doYou must either have a minimum of 6 months post registration experience and/or be a new registrant who has been put forward for NMC registration but was unsuccessful in the block NHS Ayrshire and Arran interview process. Applicants should be motivated and self‑driven with a commitment to developing and delivering a high standard of individualised care to patients within a Continuing Care / Palliative setting.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required for this postExcellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills are essential. The post will provide an excellent opportunity for you to enhance and further develop clinical skills as well as providing an excellent grounding for all registrants.
