The Works As a 2nd Head Chef, you’ll be a vital part of the kitchen leadership team, supporting your Head Chef and stepping up when needed. You’ll help deliver dishes to spec every time, lead a team, and contribute to kitchen profitability and performance with consistency and pride.

You’ll be responsible for:
* Leading the kitchen team to deliver high standards during service
* Supporting rota efficiency and managing kitchen GP
* Helping maintain stock levels and control
* Mentoring, developing, and motivating chefs at every level
* Running daily briefings in the Head Chef’s absence
* Ensuring full compliance with health & food safety standards
* Creating an open, honest kitchen culture where people thrive
* Building strong comms between kitchen and FOH teams

This is a hands-on role for someone with energy, leadership skills, and a love of consistency and creativity in equal measure.
