Position: Senior Audit Clerk – R240K – R180K

Overview

Hire Resolve’s Client is looking for a Senior Audit Clerk to join. As a Senior Audit Clerk, you will be responsible for conducting and supporting audit engagements, ensuring accuracy of financial information, and assessing compliance with regulations and standards. You will work closely with the audit team to perform financial analysis and identify areas of risk or concern.

Responsibilities:

Assist with audit engagements by preparing working papers, conducting analytical reviews, and performing substantive testing

Evaluate financial statements for accuracy and completeness, ensuring adherence to relevant accounting standards, regulations, and internal controls

Identify potential risks and recommend appropriate actions to mitigate them

Support the audit team in conducting interviews, gathering evidence, and documenting findings

Prepare audit reports and communicate findings to management

Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and changes in accounting standards

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

3-5+ years of experience in auditing or a related field

Strong knowledge of auditing standards, principles, and procedures

Experience with financial analysis and evaluation

Familiarity with relevant accounting regulations and standards

Attention to detail and strong analytical skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Proficiency in using auditing software and Microsoft Office Suite
