This role ensures accurate financial recordkeeping, assistance with day-to-day transactions, and contributes to the smooth operation of the accounting processesMinimum requirements:

Degree in accounting or finance

Completed SAIPA

Above-average proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (SAGE Accounting, SAGE Payroll)

Minimum of 5 years working experience

Above-average speaking, reading and writing skills in Afrikaans and English

Key Responsibilities

Handle day-to-day financial transactions

Ensure correct allocation of transactions for reporting purposes

Process accounts payable and payments

Reconcile bank statements and ledger accounts

Verify the accuracy of financial documents and resolve inconsistencies

Assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports

Maintain organised file systems for accounting records

Supports payroll preparation and expense reporting

Data entry

Various administrative responsibilities and general office duties
