Position: Professional Accountant (SA)

Overview

Hire Resolve has partnered with a company based in Pretoria, which is looking for a Professional Accountant (SA) to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing accounting and tax-related duties; managing an accounting portfolio; and providing insight, supervision (where applicable), and review of the portfolio’s month to month.

Responsibilities:

Ensure on-budget completion of field work, adhering to policies

Provide technical training and support to team members

Create client reports and manage accounting budgets

Monitor budget performance and evaluate against targets

Review tax returns and allocate work on engagements

Maintain strong client relations and oversee CIPC administration

Meet set targets and communicate monthly plans

Requirements:

SAIPA / AGA(SA)
A qualification

3+ years’ relevant experience (including articles)

Proficient in IFRS for SMEs, IFRS, and taxation

Strong admin and project management skills

Proactive, leadership-oriented team player

Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

Effective planner with adherence to values

Benefits:

Salary: R360K/yr, salary negotiable
