Job Title:
Financial Accountant
Location: Centurion
Overview
A well-established defence industry company based in Centurion is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Accountant to manage full accounting functions and ensure accurate financial reporting in a highly regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform full accounting function up to trial balance
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
- Handle general ledger reconciliations
- Manage VAT, tax calculations, and statutory submissions
- Assist with annual budgets, forecasts, and cash flow management
- Prepare audit packs and liaise with external auditors
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and internal control procedures
- Monitor cost allocations, inventory, and project-related expenses
- Support senior finance management with financial analysis
- BCom Accounting / Financial Management (or similar)
- Completed or in progress SAIPA articles
- 3–5 years’ experience in a Financial Accountant role
