CIMA Management Accountant job vacancy in Pretoria.

Our client is seeking an Operational Management Accountant to join their finance team in Pretoria.

This role is ideal for a hands-on accounting professional with 1–4 years’ experience who enjoys working closely with operations, inventory, and financial reporting.

The successful candidate will play a key role in stock control, stock counts, cost management, and financial administration within a fast-paced operational environment.

Salary: R40 000 – R45 000 per month.

• Perform and oversee regular stock counts and stock reconciliations
• Investigate and report on stock variances
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock control processes
• Prepare monthly management accounts and reports
• Assist with month-end procedures and reconciliations
• Analyse costs, margins, and operational performance
• Process journals and balance sheet reconciliations
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities
• Ensure accurate financial records and reporting
• Work closely with operational management to improve controls and efficiencies

• Relevant Accounting qualification (Diploma, Degree, BCom or similar)
• Completed CIMA qualification
• 1–4 Years’ relevant accounting experience
• Experience with in property or hospitality would be good
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Strong attention to detail
• Any property or MDA experience would be benefial
• Analytical and problem-solving ability
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Excellent organisational skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Hands-on approach and willingness to work within operations
