About the Role
Our client seeks an organized and proactive Fleet Manager Assistant to support the management of their extensive vehicle fleet in Pretoria . This role is integral to maintaining operational efficiency, ensuring all vehicles are compliant, maintained, and ready for deployment. You will assist with scheduling maintenance, tracking vehicle usage, managing driver documentation, and liaising with service providers. This position is perfect for an individual with strong administrative skills and an interest in the automotive and logistics sector, based in the administrative capital, Pretoria .
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Fleet Manager in daily operations and administrative tasks.
- Schedule and coordinate vehicle maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle registrations, licenses, and insurance.
- Monitor driver logs and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Liaise with external vendors for parts, services, and vehicle acquisitions.
- Prepare reports on fleet performance, fuel consumption, and maintenance costs.
- Proven experience in fleet administration or a related logistical support role.
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using fleet management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with drivers and vendors.
