Aviation Compliance Officer

• Monitor and interpret all applicable aviation laws, regulations, and standards (e.g., SA-CAR, ICAO Annexes) relevant to the organization's operations.
• Conduct regular internal audits and compliance checks across various departments to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Develop and implement compliance policies, procedures, and training programs for staff.
• Act as the primary point of contact for regulatory authorities, coordinating inspections and responding to inquiries.
• Investigate compliance breaches, prepare detailed reports, and recommend corrective actions to management.
• Maintain accurate records of all compliance activities, audit findings, and regulatory updates.

• A degree in Aviation Management, Law, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in aviation regulatory compliance or a related role.
• In-depth knowledge of South African Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA) regulations and international aviation standards.
• Proven experience in conducting compliance audits and developing corrective action plans.
• Excellent analytical, research, and report-writing skills.
• Strong understanding of safety management systems and their integration with compliance frameworks.
