* Estate & Hotel in Kameeldrift, Pretoria is looking for an experienced and hands-on Site Supervisor (Construction & Maintenance) to take full ownership of construction and maintenance projects.

The successful candidate will manage projects from planning and costing through to execution and completion, ensuring high-quality standards are maintained throughout the property.

Duties:

Project & Site Management:

Independently manage construction and maintenance projects from start to finish
Prepare detailed project costings, estimates, and material lists
Control and monitor project budgets and expenses
Coordinate suppliers and negotiate pricing
Supervise on-site teams and subcontractors
Allocate daily tasks and manage productivity
Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
Maintain high-quality workmanship aligned with estate standards
Conduct site inspections and oversee compliance with health and safety regulations
Provide hands-on support where required
Technical Knowledge & Practical Skills

Must have strong working knowledge of:

General building and construction
Painting and finishing
Plumbing
Electrical systems
Carpentry and structural work
General property maintenance and repairs

Requirements:

Minimum Grade 12 (or equivalent).
Trade qualification or construction-related certification is required and must be presented upon application
Proven experience as a Site Supervisor, Foreman, or similar roll.
Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
Knowledge of safe handling of tools, maintenance equipment, and materials.
Awareness of hotel standards, maintenance procedures, and occupational health and safety regulations.
Ability to run projects independently without constant oversight
Strong costing and budgeting experience
Solid knowledge across multiple building trades
Strong leadership and team management skills
Valid driver’s license
