Senior Project Manager - Construction

About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly competent Senior Project Manager with extensive experience in the Construction sector to oversee significant building projects in Pretoria . This leadership role involves managing all phases of construction projects, from initial planning and design through to final completion and handover. You will be responsible for site management, budget control, quality assurance, and ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations.

• Manage all aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Develop and execute detailed construction project plans , including scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management.
• Oversee site operations, coordinating with contractors, subcontractors, architects, and engineers.
• Ensure compliance with all building codes, safety regulations, and legal requirements.
• Manage client and stakeholder communications, providing regular progress updates and addressing concerns promptly.
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks to ensure work meets specifications.

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in construction project management .
• Proven experience managing large-scale commercial and residential building projects.
• In-depth knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate diverse teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline; professional certification is a plus.
