Remote Construction Site Supervisor

About the Role

Our client is seeking a diligent and experienced Remote Construction Site Supervisor to remotely oversee and manage daily operations on various construction sites. This innovative role requires a proactive individual capable of guiding site teams, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, and maintaining high standards of work quality, primarily focusing on projects in the Pretoria region. You will utilize technology and effective communication to remotely supervise progress, troubleshoot issues, and ensure that projects are executed efficiently and safely, even from a distance.

• Remotely supervise day-to-day construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans and timelines.
• Monitor and enforce strict health and safety regulations on all assigned sites.
• Coordinate and manage on-site personnel, including subcontractors and tradespeople.
• Conduct regular remote inspections using visual aids and reporting tools to assess progress and quality.
• Liaise with project managers and other stakeholders to report on site conditions and resolve issues promptly.
• Ensure materials and equipment are being used efficiently and appropriately.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a construction supervisory or management role.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations.
• Proficiency in using digital tools for remote monitoring, communication, and reporting.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple sites and tasks concurrently in a remote capacity.
• National Diploma in Building or Civil Engineering, or equivalent experience.
