About the Role
Our client is seeking a results-oriented Project Manager to lead residential construction projects in and around Pretoria. This role demands strong leadership, excellent organizational skills, and a deep understanding of the residential building process. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of project delivery, from initial planning and procurement through to final handover, ensuring client satisfaction and project profitability. Key Responsibilities- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation for residential construction projects.
- Oversee site operations, ensuring adherence to safety standards, quality specifications, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate and manage all subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams involved in the project.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, managing expectations, and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings, identifying and resolving potential issues promptly.
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, permits, change orders, and progress reports.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in managing residential construction projects.
- Demonstrated success in delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, construction techniques, and project management methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with project management software and standard office applications.
