About the Role

Our client is looking for a dynamic and experienced Construction Project Manager to spearhead diverse building and infrastructure projects within the Pretoria area. You will be accountable for the overall planning, management, and execution of projects from inception to handover, ensuring successful delivery within scope, time, and budget constraints. This position requires exceptional leadership qualities, robust organizational capabilities, and a comprehensive understanding of the construction lifecycle, contributing to the development of key projects that enhance the urban landscape of Gauteng.

• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, and resource allocation.
• Oversee all on-site construction activities, managing teams and subcontractors effectively.
• Control project costs, manage budgets, and approve expenditures within authorized limits.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards.
• Manage stakeholder communications, providing regular progress updates and addressing concerns.
• Proactively identify and mitigate project risks to prevent delays and cost overruns.

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry.
• Demonstrated success in delivering complex construction projects on time and within budget.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
• Strong negotiation, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
