About the Role
Our client is looking for a seasoned Construction Project Manager to spearhead residential development projects in Pretoria . This leadership role requires a strategic thinker capable of managing all facets of residential construction, from initial planning and procurement through to final handover. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety, contributing significantly to the growing residential landscape of Pretoria .
This position is ideal for an individual with a proven track record in residential construction management and strong leadership capabilities.
- Oversee all aspects of construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Manage site operations, ensuring adherence to project plans, timelines, and quality standards.
- Coordinate and supervise all site personnel, including subcontractors and direct labour.
- Implement and enforce rigorous health and safety protocols on construction sites.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities to ensure smooth project execution.
- Conduct regular progress meetings and provide comprehensive project reports to senior management.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in construction project management, with a strong focus on residential developments.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in project management software such as MS Project or similar.
