Construction Site Manager

Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced Construction Site Manager to oversee operations at various project sites in and around Pretoria . This role is essential for ensuring that construction projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the site, including coordinating labour, managing resources, and liaising with subcontractors and stakeholders.

This hybrid role requires a strong presence on-site, complemented by remote management capabilities for administrative tasks and reporting, ensuring efficient oversight across multiple phases of construction and development.

• Supervise and direct all on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with project plans and specifications.
• Develop and implement site-specific safety plans and ensure adherence to all health and safety regulations.
• Manage site logistics, including material delivery, equipment usage, and workforce scheduling.
• Coordinate and liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, architects, and engineers to ensure smooth project progress.
• Conduct regular site inspections, quality control checks, and progress reporting to project management.
• Resolve on-site issues and conflicts promptly and effectively to minimize delays and cost overruns.

• National Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a site management or supervisory role within the construction industry.
• Proven track record of managing construction sites safely and efficiently.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
