This senior role is central to ensuring the successful implementation of complex civil engineering works and building construction across expansive developments. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in site supervision, quality control, and project coordination within the residential construction sector.

You will be responsible for leading site teams, managing subcontractors, and ensuring all construction activities strictly adhere to design specifications, safety regulations, and project timelines. • Supervise and manage all daily construction activities on large-scale residential estate projects.
• Ensure the quality of workmanship and materials used meets project specifications and industry standards.
• Coordinate with various teams, including foremen, surveyors, and subcontractors, to maintain project momentum.
• Implement and enforce strict health and safety protocols on site, ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to guide construction activities in Pretoria .
• Manage site logistics, including the scheduling of deliveries and equipment.
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks, documenting progress and identifying any deviations from the plan.
• Liaise with the Project Manager and other stakeholders to resolve site-specific issues and ensure timely completion of phases.
• Maintain accurate site records, including daily reports, progress updates, and incident logs.
• Foster a positive and productive working relationship with the site team and subcontractors.

• A National Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• Professional registration (e.g., ECSA, SACPCMP) is highly advantageous.
• A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in site engineering and supervision, with a significant focus on large residential developments.
• Demonstrated experience in managing civil works (earthworks, roads, services) and building structures.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and quality control techniques.
• Excellent knowledge of health and safety regulations in the South African construction industry.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to Gauteng .
