Senior BIM Manager

Our client, a prominent architectural and construction consultancy in Pretoria , is seeking an experienced Senior BIM Manager to lead their Building Information Modeling (BIM) initiatives. You will be responsible for developing and implementing BIM strategies, standards, and workflows across all projects, ensuring efficient data management and collaboration. This role requires a deep understanding of BIM technologies, their application in the AEC industry, and the ability to train and support project teams.

• Develop and implement company-wide BIM strategies, protocols, and standards to ensure consistency and quality.
• Manage and oversee BIM execution plans for various projects, ensuring adherence to client and project requirements.
• Provide technical leadership and support to project teams on BIM software and workflows, including Revit and Navisworks.
• Conduct regular audits of BIM models to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with standards.
• Facilitate clash detection and resolution sessions, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to resolve design conflicts.
• Organize and deliver BIM training programs for staff to enhance their skills and adoption of BIM technologies.

• A Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in BIM implementation and management, with a strong focus on architectural and construction projects.
• Expert proficiency with Revit , Navisworks, BIM 360, and other relevant BIM software.
• Deep understanding of the BIM ecosystem, information management, and digital construction workflows.
• Experience in developing and enforcing BIM standards and quality assurance procedures.
