Medical General Practioner

A well-established solo GP practice in Mamelodi East, Pretoria, Gauteng, is seeking a qualified General Practitioner to join on a part-time, flexible basis. The role offers a professional, patient-focused environment with opportunities to manage a wide variety of general practice cases. The ideal starting date is 1 March 2026.

Practice Details:

• The doctor is expected to conduct thorough, careful patient consultations, prioritising patient care over speed or financial gain.
• This is a well-established, busy, and highly respected practice in Mamelodi, the current Dr has been serving the local community since 2009.
• The ideal candidate will be attentive to the healthcare needs of the community and provide compassionate care.
• The practice has a strong reputation and operates in a safe, secure environment.
• Solo GP practice with supportive patient base
• Opportunity to discuss schedule flexibility directly with the practitioner
• Normal dispensing GP with computerised records using MED-EDI

Requirements:

• MBChB qualification
• Registered as a General Dispensing Practitioner
• Experience in general practice and basic patient care
• Optional: interest in minor surgery
• Optional: basic obstetric sonar (dates, EDD, gender only; not full scans)
• Professional, patient-focused, and reliable

Working hours:

• Flexible working hours (mostly afternoons, not later than 16h00–17h00),
• Alternative Fridays: 09h00–15h00
• Alternative Saturdays: 09h00–12h00

Remuneration: Competitive and flexible package, negotiated with the chosen candidate
