About the Role
Our client is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to join their esteemed educational institution in Pretoria . This role supports the foundational learning and development of young children, combining in-center teaching with occasional remote parent consultations. You will play a vital role in creating an inspiring and secure learning environment, implementing innovative pedagogical approaches. This position is ideal for an educator who is passionate about early childhood education and seeks a role that offers both direct interaction with children and the flexibility to engage with families digitally, fostering a collaborative approach to learning and development.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging, play-based learning experiences for children aged 0-5.
- Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their learning journeys and developmental milestones.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding their child's development and participation.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the early years curriculum.
- Organize and lead parent-teacher meetings and virtual information sessions.
- Relevant qualification in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Proven experience working with young children in a nursery or preschool setting.
- Deep understanding of early childhood development principles and the EYFS framework.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
