Overview

Hire Resolve is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Professional Civil Engineer to join our client’s team in Pretoria. As a Pr Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing civil engineering projects, ensuring their successful completion within the designated time frames and budgets. You will work closely with a team of engineers and technicians to ensure the highest quality of work.

Responsibilities:

Manage and supervise civil engineering projects from concept to completion

Prepare design specifications and construction plans

Stormwater management

Sewerage and wastewater management

Perform engineering calculations and analysis

Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including architects, contractors, and other consultants

Supervise and mentor junior engineers and technicians

Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and quality of work

Prepare progress reports and documentation

Manage project budgets and schedules

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field

Registration as a Professional Engineer (Pr Eng)

Minimum of 8 years of experience in civil engineering

Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, design standards, and construction practices

Experience working on Townhouses.

Proficient in relevant design software and technical tools

Excellent project management and leadership skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work effectively in a team environment
