Civil Engineering Assistant

This role supports the Company Director by assisting with drafting, documentation and project coordination for infrastructure and water-related projects.

Key responsibilities:

Drafting Support:

• Produce and edit technical drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar software.
• Create diagrams, layouts and site plans for project documentation.

Documentation Assistance

• Assist in compiling and formatting technical reports and documents.
• Ensure clear record-keeping and version control of all project files.

Technical Input:

• Perform basic engineering calculations and quantity estimates.
• Review and adhere to relevant municipal standards and client specifications.

Project Coordination

• Help track project timelines, milestones and deliverables.
• Support communication with clients, suppliers and other stakeholders as needed.

• National Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or final year student)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
