UD Trucks is known for pioneering technologies and products within the commercial automotive industry. The purpose of this role is to design, develop and test electrical devices/systems by ensuring that systems/devices are functioning safely and efficiently according to UD Trucks requirements.
Responsibilities- Design, implement, maintain and improve electrical products and systems.
- Understand and implement designs from technical drawings.
- Work with renewable energy sources.
- Investigate electrical failures or unexpected maintenance problems.
- Inspect the installation and adjustment of electrical systems in the plants.
- Draw up project plans, create models, prototypes and circuit diagrams for high and low voltage electrical equipment.
- Maintain building services, such as lighting, heating, ventilation and lift systems.
- B.Eng/BSc/BTech/Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (Essential).
- Computer literacy (Excel, MS Project, AutoCAD, Solid Edge, engineering software).
