Junior Metallurgist

Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Junior Metallurgist  a Junior Metallurgist, you will be responsible for assisting with process optimisation, carrying out lab test work, assisting with plant trials, operating pilot plants, carrying out pilot studies and providing technical support. The successful candidate will mostly be working at our Metallurgical lab in Pretoria, but can also be expected to work on site from time to time.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Chemical or Metallurgical Engineering
• Relevant experience highly beneficial
• Proficiency in metallurgy and extractive metallurgy
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and strong documentation skills
• Ability and willingness to work collaboratively with colleagues and clients
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
