Civil engineering Business Development Manager

• Professional Civil Engineer (B.Eng. or BSc) with strong experience in civil design registered with ECSA (PR Eng.)
• Min of 5 years’ experience in the design of roads and civils
• Business development in Engineering
• Undertaking technical and feasibility studies including site investigations
• Experience in bulk earthworks, road design, parking areas, sports fields, bulk infra-structure services, commercial development infra-structure, layerworks design, earth dams, pump lines, etc.
• Collaborator and must work well within a project team
• Consulting with clients and other consultants
• Managing budgets and project resources
• Mentoring junior engineers and technicians
• Make sure all documentation issued conform with the ISO 9001 – Quality standards

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Open communication approach with colleagues and clients
• Good organizational skills
• Structured approach to problem solving and structured approach to day-to-day self-management
• Ability to perform the necessary engineering introspection and willingness to be challenged
• Showing initiative in challenging and unclear circumstances
• Computer literate, proficiency in typical office software applications
• Driver’s license and own transport
