Power systems​/energy engineering- Senior Engineer – electricity pricing and tariffs

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Engineer specializing in electricity pricing and tariffs to join our team in Pretoria, Tshwane. In this role, you will play a critical part in the power systems and energy engineering sector, contributing your expertise to complex pricing structures, regulatory frameworks, and tariff methodologies.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will naturally involve working closely with power systems data, analyzing utility operations, and applying your technical background to support strategic decision-making in the electricity sector. While your primary focus will center on electricity pricing and tariffs, your broader engineering knowledge will be essential for evaluating power generation, transmission, and distribution systems.

• Hold a Bachelor's Degree, B Tech Degree, or Advanced Diploma (NQF
  7) in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering as recognized by SAQA.
• Demonstrate a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in the electricity sector, preferably within power generation, transmission, distribution, or utility operations and performance analysis.
• Possess registration or show eligibility for registration with ECSA, which will be considered a distinct advantage.
• Hold a postgraduate qualification in power systems, energy engineering, or a related field, which is also viewed as advantageous.
