About the Role
Our client seeks a dynamic and organized Project Engineer specializing in Mechanical Systems to join their team in Pretoria . This role requires a blend of technical expertise and strong project management skills to oversee the successful execution of mechanical engineering projects from initiation to completion. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing project activities, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

- Manage the full project lifecycle for mechanical engineering projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closing.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies.
- Coordinate with internal teams, external contractors, and suppliers to ensure project milestones are met.
- Oversee the design, procurement, installation, and commissioning of mechanical systems and equipment.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with all safety regulations and engineering standards.

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in project engineering or project management, with a strong mechanical engineering background.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex mechanical projects.
- Familiarity with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, equipment, and construction processes.
