Technical Sales Executive - Junior position

We are looking for a motivated Sales Technician to join our client's team. The successful candidate will assist customers with sheet metal product enquiries, prepare quotations, provide basic technical advice, and help grow our client base.

• Respond to customer enquiries via phone and email.
• Assist with preparing quotations based on technical drawings and customer requirements.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
• Generate new business opportunities and identify potential customers.
• Provide customers with basic technical advice regarding materials and manufacturing processes.
• Read and interpret basic technical drawings and CAD designs.
• Follow up on orders and liaise with production to ensure deadlines are met.
• Assist with tracking orders from quotation stage through to delivery.

• National Senior Certificate / Grade 12.
• Technical qualification in Mechanical Drafting, Engineering or a related field will be advantageous.
• Basic ability to read and understand technical drawings or CAD drawings.
• Good numerical, computer and Excel skills.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
