About the Role

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and driven Junior Civil Engineer to join their team in Pretoria . This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career engineer to gain hands-on experience across various civil engineering disciplines, including structural, transportation, and water resources. You will work under the guidance of senior engineers, assisting with design, analysis, and project coordination.

This role offers a blend of office-based work and site visits, providing a comprehensive learning experience in a supportive environment.

• Assist senior engineers in the design and development of civil infrastructure projects, such as buildings, roads, and water systems.
• Perform calculations, prepare drawings, and generate technical reports under supervision.
• Conduct site inspections and assist with monitoring construction progress and quality control.
• Support the preparation of project documentation, including specifications and bill of quantities.
• Collaborate with team members on project tasks and participate in design review meetings.
• Learn and apply relevant engineering standards, codes, and software.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Eager to learn and develop skills in various aspects of civil engineering .
• Basic understanding of engineering design principles and construction practices.
• Familiarity with CAD software is advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
